I really enjoy live performances, from big Broadway productions to local theater. Over the years, Karen and I have traveled across the country and the world to see shows, though our roots are in the New York theater scene. Back when I lived in NY, we would try to see everything, sometimes grabbing the last row of the balcony just to be in the room.

Now that we are in North Carolina, we keep that tradition alive with season tickets to see every new production that comes to town. My goal is to experience everything at least once—though favorites like Les Mis, Kimberly Akimbo, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Shucked, and Moulin Rouge definitely deserve a second (or third) viewing.
